Book Review: Stork M.I.A. by Sandro Isaack

by Hannah Crawford

This book tells the story of two Dads on a quest. They’re not searching for buried treasure. They’re not rescuing a princess from a dragon. Even better: They’re looking for a baby!

Dad and Dad have been together for 10 years. Now they want a baby. They have seen lots of moms and dads get babies from the stork, but the stork never leaves a baby for them. The stork is Missing in Action!

What to do? Dad and Dad don’t want to sit and wait anymore, so they go looking for the stork. They have no luck at all until they get a hint from Mom and Mom: the stork is going to China! But will Dad and Dad get there in time? Will they be able to give a baby a loving home?

You can help Dad and Dad find the stork by following the signs in the funny cartoon pictures.

The story and pictures are by Sandro Isaack. Stork M.I.A. is available from the DadDadMomMom website.
